12) Sket Dance
Status: Ongoing
Current Dogy Score: Beast (7/10)
What is it?: Comedy anime 'bout a high school club of kids who help people with practically anything they request.
What I expected: Randomed out. I really had NO reason what so ever behind giving this a shot, and I expected it to just be dumb, random, and for me to watch about 3 episodes and call it off.
What I got: Up front, I practically got what I expected, but then I figured "Well, I'll give this a chance, because this will be good so long as the chick (Himeko) is constantly goin' in on somebody with her field hockey stick", and now it's just kinda grown on me.
... 1 week at a time (I dunno if I could stomach watching this if it were completed)
What I like: Himeko going in on people.... OK, jokes aside, I'm kool with this having all sorts of "on the fly"-esque comedy, but keeping a consistent story thus far. It's the counter-balance to Nichijou, where something happens and that's pretty much it, it's just left there. When something happens here, it may come back of use later on down the road.
What I don't like: .... that Himeko isn't going in on people more! Seriously. Oh, and the random TvC. XD
Would I recommend it?: If you're looking for that "popular anime", then I'm thinking this'll be it (I totally see this coming to America in the future). Other than that, I'd say hold off on it for now.

13) Zombie Loan
Status: Complete
Current Dogy Score: Aight (5/10)
What is it?: It's an action 'bout a girl who has the ability to see rings around people's necks (meaning they're 'bout to die). She meets two guys who are supposed to be dead but they're not. The 3 of them work to pay off a debt called a Zombie Loan. (Yeah, I went and looked something up to remind myself. I recently watched it and don't remember shit cause this anime and I didn't get along)
What I expected: I expected an anime with a lot of zombie hunting. I mean, description talks about it, it's in the title, we got dudes with swords and guns, it just seems like it would make sense.
What I got: Not a whole lot of anything. I'd be wrong to say NOTHING happened, but I mean, I finished the series 'bout 2 weeks ago or so and I barely remember ANYTHING about it. -pulls up episode guide- .... oooh yeaaaaaah.
What I liked: Koyomi/Yomi was pretty a barrel of lols. Mainly because she didn't turn into a spammed joke (and somehow wound up being an important key to the group). That's... bout it.
What I didn't like: Again, I probably could go on and on about what I don't like, but I'll keep it simple. The last arc has all sorts of plotholes in it. It was bad enough that it started off of bs, but all things considered, shouldn't they have an easier time finding each other? (This'll make sense if you watch it).
Would I recommend it?: -stops and stares at screen- Ok, I'll be honest. I myself wouldn't recommend this to a soul in the world. BUT! That's because I couldn't find a single redeeming thing (beyond Yomi). However, I imagine that there're people who do like it. I just don't have a clue what they'd like about it.
