Teekyuu was... a roller coaster; that's really the best way to describe it. It's supposed to be about the antics of a high school tennis club... and -pauses- well it is about the antics of them, but it's not specifically about tennis.

There are a lot of things covered in this short series, but they are done quick fast and in a hurry. The defining feature of this series, imo, is just how fast paced everything is. Sitting through a 3 minute episode made me feel as if there was no point unless I actually knew Japanese because the text was flying by. It's one of those "hold on to your seats" kind of experiences.

But all in all, there isn't a lot to the series. There wasn't anything "plot" wise that made it really memorable. I mean sure, some of the bits were funny, but they were really chuckle humor. Honestly, the ONLY thing that's stayed in my mind since this has ended (which was ... two days before I wrote this? ) is the OP. And only because the OP has more of that "annoying high-pitched singing" that you want to forget.

The last episode said "Aim for a second season" which scares me, but unless they have a second one and do something with it, I can't really recommend this for any reason. It's just one of the many series that's just there. So mediocre it doesn't even stand out for being bad.
