What I'm Thankful For

Yesterday I demolished Facebook. T'was pretty hilarious. I made 50 posts about what I'm thankful for (YEAH 50. TOLD PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH IT)

Lucky for you, I'm gunna just wrap them into one post and throw them here.

#1 - So whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat's something I'm thankful for?

First one's gunna be simple yet effective. I'm thankful for Mountain Dew: Livewire NOT being in my region.

Why ... not? Always gives me a incentive to get out of the area. Always leaves me fiending for me. Always leaves me scheming to score some.


#2 - Well, I am thankful for having a bunch of people who treat a selfish bastard better than he deserves.

'Cause trust me, I am a greedy, selfish bastard.


#3 - ... honestly, I like the fact that I live in a country where we can argue over petty nonsense such as "You should(n't) buy this video game cause they're nickle and diming the crap out of you."

Beats arguing over what plant we're getting this week's meal from.


#4 - I'm not gunna front, I'm thankful for the entire Smash community. Melee, Horribrawl (YES EVEN THAT GAME I'LL NEVER PLAY), S64, all of you.

I know that if it wasn't for all of you, I wouldn't be half the person I am today on the internets and all that good stuff. No matter how much I trash on you guys, which is some more than others but everybody gets some, I'm not going to forget what got m...e here.

#5 - I'm thankful for whoever created Nasal Decongestants. Without those, my life would suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck!

#6 - Thanks to the part of my brain that says "Ya know what... F' them... do it"... and also to the part of my brain that laughs at me when I was wrong. ^_^

#7 - I AM THANKFUL FOR THE CONCEPT OF TROLLING. The patch that holds my life together when I'm not playing games. :x

#8 - As much as I hate living here, I'm thankful for living in the South. Simply because I don't have to drive on ice. -knocks on wood-

#9 - Thank you to microwaves, frozen foods, and everything else that doesn't really pass off as cooking. I really can't cook, but I have to eat too!

#10 - I'm thankful for video games.

Without them, life would be boring. And I honestly do not understand how somebody can live life without them... wait.. yes I can. It's called live in a city that has stuff to do. -glare-

#11 - Thanks to Bruce Lee and the "Dragon Stomp"

....-shrug- I just always thought it was kool when I was a kid, and still respect it.

#12 - I am thankful for the b7. You stand for all things funky, jazzy, and hip in music. Thank you.

13 - Thank you Sony and Nintendo for making the Playstation 2 and the Super Nintendo.

#14 - I'm thankful for being lazy...

... I mean, I'm really not. It's a horrible trait... but it's just easier to do this.

#15 - I am thankful for (GAWes) and (SleepyK).

For what? For Down South Jukin' (Wes) and bringing the recording equipment (John). That's where it all started.

#18 - I am thankful for people who do construction.

Seriously. I did "light construction" and it sucked. But somebody's gotta do it. Somebody's gotta build the buildings, pave roads, make houses, put floors in it (that's me) and all sorts of other crap. OH MY GOD IT SUCKS TO DO IT. D:

#19 - I'm thankful for the creation of MMA.

I was kool with boxing as a kid, but MMA is the current means for men (and women) punching each other in the face for my entertainment.

#20 - I'm thankful for the creation of Bursts.

'Cause yo, I might be patient, and I might have a fairly sharp reaction, but I can't block EVERYTHING, dammit. :x

#21 - I shoulda thought of this sooner, but I'm thankful for the internet.

I don't even need to say it. The internet holds too much power. :x

#22 - I'm thankful for being able to drive.

Cause if I had to walk to get my Thanksgiving meals today (and possibly tomorrow).

As much as I complain about people never calling (or msging me in any variation), there are a few people that... I just... don't... really.. want to hear their mouth. :x

#35 - I'm thankful for the evolution of music.

Yes, even the trash of the Lil Bs, Soulja Bois, and dubstep today. I think I'd shoot myself in the face if I had to listen to Gregorian Chants and simple, early Classical forever.

#36 - I'm thankful for soft resets.

There've been too many times when I've been comfortable and too lazy to get up. It's either L+R+Start+Select or I'm just gunna turn it off and go to bed. :x

#37 - Thank you to whoever invented gum.

Cause yo, your breath stinks, and I'm the only person who's literally thinking of kicking you out of the car, sooooooo hold this Extra.

#38 - I'm thankful for Advance Wars by Web.

Even though the site's wonky and it takes forever to play a game, I ALWAYS have something to burn time when I'm at somebody's computer.

#39 - This is going to be super hypocritical, but I'm thankful for facebook.

It's one of the many ways I can keep up with people who matter. And for the ones who don't, I can just... not add them.... or block them....... why didn't I think of that before hand.

#40 - I'm thankful for the movement away from CDs.

Those things kinda suck. Nothing like your favorite song being the only one with the scratch on it. :/

#41 - I'm thankful that my teeth haven't rotted out for all the soda I drink.

But I know it's coming. :x -sips Pepsi-

#42 - I'm thankful that I don't have any real worries in life.

Yeah, I know I said something similar to this earlier, but I really appreciate that I can literally forget what I've done all week instead of worry about where I'm going to sleep tonight.

#43 - Even though I haven't eaten many lately, I'm thankful for ramen noodles.

I would have said fried chicken or pizza, but you can mess those up. I don't think it's really possible to mess up ramen.

#44 - Thanks to the woman who "tried to kill me with my own microwave and her evil hamster minions."

Because of you, I always double check the timer when I make food. I'm not burning any poptarts. :P

#45 - Thank you to everybody who thinks to say "Oh by the way, my cat scratches and/or bites."

Cause you can't tell with those bastards. And they'll act all smug 'til you're in range. At that point, it's called a cat-like reflex for a reason.

#46 - OH WHILE I'M AT IT, I'M THANKFUL FOR ANY AND EVERYBODY WHO BELIEVES HAVING A SNAKE AND/OR A TARANCHULA IS A HORRIBLE IDEA.

JUST. SAYING.

#47 - I am thankful for people who ragequit.

For one, you're the kind of people who let me know I'm doing it right. More importantly, if it wasn't for a group of ragequitters, we wouldn't have this holiday.

#48 - I'm thankful for Orange Juice, Grape Juice, and Fruit Juice.

I don't drink milk, so I need something to drink whenever I eat breakfast.

#49 - I'm thankful for Uno and Monopoly.

Cause if you EVER meet somebody who doesn't know how to play either one, you can just make up your own rules.

#50 - I'm very thankful for the concept of the dollar menu.

Not specifically because I'm "broke", not specifically because I'm very cheap. But simply because I tend to carry quarters and need a reason to spend them.

It's not like you can buy good gum for < $1.00 anymore. :(

#51 - AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST, I AM THANKFUL FOR ALL OF YOU.

Friends, family, countrymen (worldsmen), and everybody who hasn't blocked me yet, thank you for stomaching all #51 of these things I'm thankful for.
