That tourney was yet another great tourney by Shin Blanka. I wish I could lie and say I'm only kissing ass, but I'm not. I think it's physically impossible for that man to run a bad tournament.

The Tourney was awesome. Venue was nice (wish I'da took a picture of the outside)
Everything ran smooth as butter. It started late, but that's tournament standard. It wasn't even horribly late. Like, 3 hours (that's really not bad). It finished at like... 9:30 or so?
How'd that happen? Shin just kept firing matches. Call 'em out. "When you're done, report your match to me!" I think I heard that 20 times between him and Pokchop through a megaphone. Constant reminders. Good group of people too, so it's not like he really had to FIGHT anybody for results.
Did 2 rounds of winners in SSF4, then losers and kinda finished it out from there (the other 3 tourneys didnt need that kind of strat, sadly :( ). No real break, except for winners. It ran well. That's all I can really say. Can't even make a joke 'bout it.

HDR Tourney? I didnt even know it happened. I saw SSJ2GeorgeBush play somebody... and do that crazy running bear grab, and that was 'bout it.
T6 almost didnt exist to me. They had 3 or 4 setups, and I saw people playing, but it never really REGISTERED in my mind since there were no megaphone calls for it. The only reason I realized the tourney started was I saw a guy holding a camera recording Anakin vs Pokchop. I thought it was some casuals. It was grands. D: Anakin won btw. I felt kinda bad cause I was watching, got lolADD and walked off, only to come running back 5 minutes later like "omg i forgot these were finals." :(
BBCS did a round robin. It was like.... 5 people? Ivysaur, The Light, FunkyP, SSJ2GeorgeBush and.... -shrug- I'm 95% sure Ivysaur won from what I saw of the scoresheet. I never did look at it when they finished. It always makes me sad how they get stuck in their own corner away from all the action.

SSF4 was the main event. There were some interesting matches goin down. Warner Robins was rollin pretty deep (4 deep in tourney), although we didnt do too hot as a whole.
Grands was ShinkuuR vs Dru, but loads of crazy stuff was goin down before that. Dru hittin the "Million Hand Slap" on SSJ2GeorgeBush (hp hands -> hp hands -> hp hands. Yes, straight linked into itself). DBJoseph blowing Cardell up with an extended Sakura shunpuu loop (I'd tell you the inputs, but you dont wanna read all of it. XD). All sorts of crazies and solid playin goin on.
I myself did aight. I dunno what it is about playing at a tourney, but none of my normal dogy stuff wanted to come out. -shrug- I can't really blame it on not owning the ps3 version... I have it now. I just need to play on it more, I guess.
The most mindboggling thing happened was actually in casuals when Viper (Cody) actually made Pokchop walk off in rage. Now, we all rag on each other hard as fuck in WR cause... we don't have anything better to do, but somebody from the future could have came and told me Cody was going to do that, and I'da slapped the trash out of them. It doens't matter if it was casuals, it doesn't matter if it was randomness, and it doesn't matter if Pokchop didn't know u2 was a grab; that was one of those things I thought was physically impossible. (shakes head)

But yeah, tourney was fun. Met new people, saw good friends. Learned stuff, got stuff to work on. Etc etc. Yada yada
