Don't ask me how in the world it happened. It blew my mind when I looked and realized how long it's been. Honestly, I've had topics, simple reviews, random tidbits, outings and events, etc etc. Heck, I even mentioned starting a couple of series. I just... didn't realize I haven't posted anything this year yet.
So, I guess this'll be a catching up to speed kinda thing.
What's been up? Not really a whole lot in the grand scheme of things, like always. I've gotten into a rut in life where I do the same thing so much I literally lose track of time. I JUST realized that. I've been just realizing a few things lately. Everything seems to be a blur as I literally wake up and go through the same ritual of either trying to do the last amount of work possible at work or doing jack at home. I've had some new things pop up lately (within the past week), but until then, nothing really comes to mind. We'll get to that later.
For now, I'm just gunna plow through things to get you up to speed.

Gamewise, I've played a few games since we last talked. The main ones were Darksiders 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur.
1) Darksiders 2 was a lot more fun than the original, as far as I can remember... but I didn't really remember a whole lot of the first. I wouldn't peg it as a revolutionary game, and I'd be amazed if anybody called it "their favorite ever", but it's not bad by any stretch. It's pretty much more Zelda-with-a-more-in-depth-combat-system. Wish the game didn't have the few bugs it did ( I found 3 soft locks, all on bosses ), but it's easy to overlook them.
2) Amalur is an amazingly sad game. Yes, that's the exact description I want to use for it. The game is amazing when you first start playing it, especially if you're playing it for it's main attraction; the combat system. It's pretty fast paced and fluid, almost feels like dedicated action game as opposed to a RPG. But then it starts being sad when you realize that not a whole lot changes beyond the first.... 5 or 6 hours. The game doesn't have you repeat the same actions verbatim, but you come pretty friggin' close. Yeah.............. yeah. That's the thing that kills the game. You play it for 5 hours and you can stop, literally.
Beyond that, I've just picked up some random time burning games. Dungeon Defenders, which I haven't played too much lately (on PS3), Sword Girls (WHICH IS CRACK), and Curve Fever. I'll leave Sword Girls to another post.

Fighting Game Wise.......... eh I'll just leave it as "I'm going to Final Round this week, I'll (hopefully remember to) make a post when I get back.

The anime front has been interesting. I've been meaning to do reviews, and I think I should have done the ones I thought about doing. But I think I did the right thing by not doing them, but I thought I did more than I did.
Yes, that's supposed to be confusing on purpose.
I didn't pick up any series for the Winter 2013 block. I don't really care to watch any for any noteworthy reason (There's one I want to watch because I've seen pics of the female lead everywhere, but the last time I did that I want to say I was horribly disappointed). So that means everything I continued watching was from the Fall 2012 block. There were some GOOD series that just recently ended (Shinsekai Yori, Zetsuen's going to end soon, Girls Und Panzer ended yesterday, etc etc), and I want to do some full reviews on some.
What's funny is, I know I haven't reviewed anything for a while... but the stuff I'm watching is (mostly) so good, I forgot that none of it started this season. Since I actually reviewed the 1 season series from Fall (Tonari, Teekyuu, CRAPTACULAR WOOSER, and so on), I some how etched it in my mind that I missed an entire season.
......... just smile and nod. It's a mess. I know.
Summer's not looking too interesting for me, either. I'll probably go back and watch Psycho Pass, Robotics;Notes, and "finish" Jojos. I want to do some 2nd reviews on a bunch of series too (technically first reviews, cause I don't think I'll rewatch anything I've reviewed yet)
__
Other than that, I've started co-starring in a web show. Three Guys Bein' Loud and Ig'nant. As of RIGHT THIS SECOND we have 1 (pilot) show and 1 review, and currently in the works for another one. It's... interesting to say the least. I believe a lot of kinks need to be worked out, but it's fairly comical to say the least.

That's pretty much it. I'm not going to act like this is a good or meaningful post. It's not. I literally wanted to throw something up here to say I've done something so far. I plan on hammering out A LOT of details of things next week when I get back from Final Round. This'll be one of them.
Sorry for the rush, but at least I remembered!
'Til next time.
