Movie Review: Tron Legacy... meh.

Like, that movie was so mediocre that I'm going to give it a mediocre-efforted review.

I mean, I might have liked it better if I would have seen it on better terms. But I went with a group of friends who wanted to go on a sunday at 10pm to accomidate ONE PERSON and that person bailed. Not to mention that we went to see Chronicles of Narnia last week cause of that 1 person and they bailed last week too..

... and then I paid $12 to see Tron in ... THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.....

__

So yeah, I was already walking into this movie salty as a fucking bag of popcorn.

But the movie? Meh. It was my first 3-d movie, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, I guess what bits of it that were in 3-d were kool, but it wasnt worth the extra money and huge ass soulja boi glasses on my face all movie.

Plot? Predictable as hell. I'm not gunna front, I don't know if it was supposed to be a remake of the original Tron (which I've never seen), a sequel, spiritual sequel, or what. But the plot was straight predictable, all the way to the credits. Its easy for me to tag the Grid as an Inception spin-off, that's cause Inception just came out, but the actual plot seems like it came from some random jrpg I've played.

That's what happens when I see Disney logos anywhere. I expect overrated nonsense. Yeah, got what I paid for.

It looked aight, I guess. I mean, Im not one for effects, and nothing really jumped out at me. Again, first 3-d movie, and I wouldnt care if it was the last. I liked the damn Tranformers preview better than the entire movie. (Real talk, after seeing what CAN be done, the idea of 3-d gaming does sound hype to me. Black cOps and Quake would be intense.)

Music? Um.... -shrug-

Would I recommend the movie to anybody? I guess maybe to a Tron fan, cause it's not like the movie was bad. It just didn't merit my time. Anybody else? Na. Not unless you're one of those lames who lives for movies and nothing else.

Would I watch the movie again? Not by my own choice. It'd have to be something like me sitting at my grandma's with no game systems and no portable systems at hand. That's physically impossible so long as electricity and sleep exist.

____

The bottom line.

Tron Legacy.....-rolls eyes-.
